i think this little gal is just the cutest thing ever. a few weeks ago i was able to spend some quality time with her and i sure am missing her now.
she love love loves her tub time.
those lips.
those eyes.
those cheeks.
 that peach fuzz.
 must i say more?
 miss haebrie dee.
some day you'll thank me for that naked one of your chubby little    dimpled bum.

in a nutshell

as i sat and wrote in my journal for the past hour, catching up on about six months of my existence i realized how life is quite hilarious.
i don't know why this happened, but i just kept finding myself laughing about the great, awful, embarrassing, dumb, gratifying moments that have happened to me.
this summer, although only lasting about four months has been plum full of these very experiences i'm speaking of.
sometimes i find myself watching everyone else's lives around me thinking, "wow they do so many fun things, they are really going places in life, they are the niftiest people" but as i just recounted about six months of my own life on thirteen pages of paper i realized that I'm kinda a cool cat too.
i dunno about the rest of the world, but for me, its hard to see sometimes.
not sure where i'm going with all this, but my life is good. and i'm thankful for the people in it that make it so good.
goodbye summer thank you for all you have given me.
and hello to a new school year, i'm going to try a little harder to see the small itty bitty things in my life that make it so fantastic, and not covet everyone else and their amazing lives… don't get me wrong though i am happy for them and their amazingness they have achieved.
i just think i could be better at being grateful for the life i'm living.
so heres to that.
p.s. starting tomorrow i'm a senior in college!!!
p.p.s. zachary's a super senior, because he's super hot, and he likes school so much he may never leave.

our summer in a nutshell.
that time we watched harry potter for 20 something hours straight. best/worst decision ever.

spent a few days in st geezy for this little ones blessing day.

hiked doughnut falls in the snow. with sandals. brilliant idea you say? i thought so too!

went to a few weddings or so. marriage is apparently the thing to do these days. zach and brady bff's.

we have enjoyed playing with our scouts this summer. zach is the best webelo's leader ever. he's like one of the boys.

my hubby turned 24 on june 6th!

the fourth of july in parawan! traditions traditions.

we spent a lovely week in estes park colorado with the wright clan.

zach and i dabbled in photography a bit.

we enjoyed every minute we spent in sun valley idaho with the lloyds!
meet the new member of our family. the element. the little subaru that could completely died on us this summer and so this is the result of that.

hiked albian basion on pioneer day with makenna and bryan. i recommend going up there late july through mid august. you will see the most beautiful wild flowers ever!

and another wedding. love this girl. she was just radiant on her special day!

i think it was a pretty successful summer if you ask me.

we're party animals.

i went down to st. george for a few days to get a dose of family time before school, and the hectic way of it begins. unfortunately zach couldn't join me due to his work schedule.
although i missed him everyday, i was able to still have a splendid time.
these two sisters of mine are such darling girls. they seriously crack me up. they both have sweet unique little personalities. and holy cow are they growing up! every time i see them i feel like something has changed.
baylie is quite the little woman now. she is in seventh grade, and rockin it. she's at the age where i think she actually cares what i think… kinda weird to grasp. she asks me my opinion on all sorts of things. i love it!
brynlie on the other hand, just turned seven going on sixteen. she doesn't care what anyone says. she knows what she wants and her opinion is really all that matters. she is a sassy, spunky little thing, and is really hilarious.
spending some time with these sisters of mine was delightful.
as we all got ready for church sunday morning we giggled and chit chatted. we matched up our hair color and its pretty much identical.(caramel sandy all the way!) after church we cuddled up on baylie's bed and read together.
we were so inspired by junie b. jones and her crazy six year old ways we wanted to be a party animal too. so we jumped on the bed and had a pillow fight we laughed for like an hour straight, bryners was loving taking pictures on the camera and wouldn't stop.
its hard being away from my little sisters, and i sometimes feel like I'm missing out on their lives. in a way i am. but it sure does make for some fun crazy times when we are together.
i love these two!

sorry parentals, about being a bad influence and allowing the bed jumping…. it was just too much fun not to!

sun valley

sun valley has come and gone, and boy i sure wish it would come again. that place is just wonderful. the lloyd family has been going to sun valley idaho for years and years, its a family tradition i'd say.
you  wake up with nothing to do, yet everything to do. tennis tennis tennis of course those lloyds love their tennis ( I'm getting there too…) then of course there is pool time, thats right up my alley way. a good book, sunshine and my shades, and i'm a happy girl. the little town of ketchum is darling and so fun to explore. some of the hot spots include but are not limited to the toy shop, elephants perch, cuddly cousins.. or was it the country cousins?  and a stop at the book store is always a must.  we were also able to spend some time mastering our yoga skills at the ymca, as well as attend a sponsored lulu lemon yoga event out at the sun valley pavilion! we were calling the water gods for a wonderful snow season this up coming winter. … and the first fifty people got a free lulu lemon yoga mat! ahhhh we were so excited! i love free things. especially when they are super cool free things! hiking was also an event we participated in. yay for hiking!  thats all ill say on that subject. any ways all in all it was a fabulous time, and after becoming a lloyd and experiencing sun valley now two years in a row,it has already found a speacial little spot in my heart. can't wait to go back!

spikeball was a big deal! we got everyone to try it out.  such a fun game!
icono clast book store

me being so sore after allie and i took that class that worked our little buns off! serious i could barely walk.

farmers market.

this is gabby! she was our friend one morning. "take a sheltered dog on a hike"

she may have liked the water way more than she liked humans but thats okay.

i think this man is pretty dang good looking.

redfish lake. super beautiful
this is how we really felt about going on a hike… haha no it wasn't that bad

after hurting his back pretty bad, zach adopted the nick name "grandpa pounder" and got to brush his teeth in this unique way. pretty much living the dream. not the hurt back part just the teeth brushing part.

snow salutation

yay for yoga!

lastly i loved the bed zach and i slept in it was huge and so comfy! I'm pretty sure i had a giggle fit every time i got in it! o and and and, I'm getting old. zach pulled out a white hair from my head while sitting in the hot tub. i kept it obviously. and I'm a little bit freaked out. thats all. loved sun valley.
