living with the elk.

and so it happened, summer took a bit of a sharp turn. one second i was lounging around watching cooking shows and snuggling with my hubby all day, then the next second, laziness was no longer. things became crazy really fast. i some how feel busier now than when school is in session… even though i know that is total nonsense.
although i'm trying to pass the blame of my absence from this blog off,  i really have nothing to blame my lack of blogging on, except for the fact that i just haven't wanted to do it.
 until family vacation took place.
we had way too much fun not to document it.

estes park colorado ymca hosted us about a week ago. it was something we have never done before, we are more the beach going, disneyland fanatics. but we decided to try something new, and despite the chilly weather and 30 mph winds on occasion we had an absolute blast!

puzzles became a cool thing to do, we laughed more than we didn't, we tried all sorts of new and adventurous things, we got to know the wildlife in the neighborhood, and really we just had oodles of fun! and heres a picture overload to prove it.
