The Lloyd clan has been going to Sun Valley Idaho for forever. The summer Zach and I got married, I got to experience this splendid place. A place where you have all the free time in the world, to play tennis, swim at the pool, go into town, take leasuire walks in the morning and evenings, enjoy a nice yoga class at the YMCA, bike ride, float the river, hike, etc etc etc. You get my point. Free time is in abundance.
I was really excited to introduce Nola to the Sun Valley life as a 7 month old baby, I quickly learned, however, babies make vacationing a bit different. I remember feeling a little bummed this trip with the fact Nola was always needing to nap, or eat, or be watched. Duh Kylie she's your baby!! hello! Anyways, my endless free time became almost non existent. Not entirely cause Zach watched her while I went and took a yoga class, and Zach's parents stayed with her while Zach and I went on a bike ride, but I didn't feel the wonderful feeling of having nothing to do and everything to do at the same time. With that being said, I still had a fantastic time. Especially looking back on it now, I realize it was a great trip!
We had a super time bowing with the whole fam on our last day. Nola was in quite the mood that day and every time it was my turn she would scream bloody murder... I wonder if that has anything to do with my loosing score of 47... probably not, but its nice to have an excuse sometimes.
I was still able to watch a lot of tennis, and even play a bit too. plus we had a photoshoot on the court with Nola. With her being a Lloyd we had to get her comfortable on the court.
Last year zach and I floated the river, and it was slightly terrifying! This year, with it being a little on the cold weather side, I wasn't feeling like floating in ice cold water. Instead we opted for a nice stroll to the nearby hot pots. They were a great alternative i'd say. Even if they were smelly and muddy.

Celebrating Grandma Neoma's Birthday |
The paper bag game was an instant hit. All you need is a paper bag (we had plenty from atkinsons, cookies), some unflexable folk, a camera phone with the ability to transfer any clip into slow motion and you will be laughing your guts out! It was extremely comical! Zach had some awesome face dives into the carpet.
Nola and Wyatt were lots of fun. He pushed her around in his tiny shopping cart, and they rode in the bike pulley thing together. We were worried Wyatt, might pull her hair or be rough with her. The pictures we captured tell otherwise. Nola was the one socking him in the face. haha we died laughing when we zoomed in to find her little fist in his cheek! He was such a good sport.

Another experience i remember vividly, is a bike ride on this lovely scenic rode, all the time I was yelling at Zach. hahaha poor guy, I sure did get lucky with him. He is patient with me and all my mood swings. I was angry that day about the vacation almost being over and I didn't feel like I had done anything. It wasn't his fault, and Im not sure if I was even upset at him or just the situation in general. Im sure he ended up making me laugh, and smile, which I hate doing when i just want to be mad. He's good at that. Now I look back and crack up at the thought of me huffing and puffing on a bicycle, complaining about the vacation being over, I sure was making the best of the time we had left. ha!
A huge highlight of Sun Valley is always the beds we end up sleeping on. Literally Amazing! This time we named our bed The Cloud. It was exactly like it sounds, cloud like, and became the main hang out! It sucked me in and it was impossible to get up every morning, but totally worth it!
I seriously love Sun Valley, even if things were a bit different with a baby, I wouldn't have it any other way. I can't wait for July to roll around, for another fun filled week, plus we will have our Allie back too, and a new baby (ash & jons) so thats a double plus!
